Get Street Fit is private, child friendly, air conditioned studio delivering group and personal training, located in Bonogin/ Reedy Creek/ Mudgeeraba Forest- only minutes from Robina.
The studio is an owner operator venture by Personal Trainer, Sherryn, who has a Bachelor of Health Science degree and Cert IV in Fitness (Personal Training), and brings with her over 15 years of experience in the health sector. Sherryn is credentialed to deliver pre and post pregnancy exercises for mums and loves working with this population group.
The Get Street Fit studio offers cardio, toning, boxing, pilates and yoga classes in a supportive small group training environment, for both males and females. Private sessions are also available for personal training.

PERSONAL TRAINING & GROUP CLASSES
Training within a small studio enables you to get the benefits of a small group setting, without the hefty price tag. As there are never more than 10 clients in only one class, exercises can be adapted and personalised to individuals depending on their specific needs, ability and fitness level, as well as technique correction, progression or regression of exercises.
Group sessions include High Intensity Interval Training, resistance based training, and boxing for fitness.

As a busy mum of 2 I got to a point where I made the decision to start looking after myself more. I personally don't like big gyms as I am self conscious on how I look and if I am using the machines correctly. Sherryn and her home studio were perfect for what I was looking for. Living in Bonogin its great that her gym is so close to home and I don't have to travel far. I am only at the beginning of my fitness journey but I know that Sherryn will be there to support me and ensure I feel comfortable at the same time. Sherryn is a brilliant trainer - fun and easy going while also motivating you to go a bit harder when you need it. The studio is air-conditioned and comfortable and I loved the variety of exercises we did, even the short hill runs! She is also awesome at following up to keep you on track.
Get Street Fit offers a number of sessions throughout the week, which are complementary to one another. To make the most of your fitness journey, try to train a combination of the sessions offered.

One on one personal training provides you with a training program

Burn up those extra calories and get leaner faster with a HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) session. The advantage of HIIT is that you are still burning calories after your workout, as well as increasing your metabolic rate, which will lead to fast fat loss. Punch (boxing) sessions also available.
Tone it up
Resistance based training to gain muscle mass, strength and anaerobic endurance. Equipment used includes a combination of free weights, bands and body weight exercises. Your body will still be burning those calories well after a session! As you gain muscle, your body will be burning more calories when at rest.
Pilates can be summed up in three words: stretch, strength and control. It is suitable for all ages and fitness levels. Benefits of Pilates include teaching of body awareness and control, strengthening stabilising muscles, improved pelvic floor and core function, improved flexibility and posture. Pilates therefore complements other fitness activities (including HIIT) beautifully!
The practice of Yoga asanas develops strength and flexibility, while calming the mind. Benefits of yoga include improvements in joint mobility, flexibility, curculation, digestion, and decreasing stress levels.

Being a Personal Trainer was a dream of mine for quite some time. After having two babies in close succession, I wanted to lose the baby weight, which reignited my love for active living, and kick started my fitness journey.
After working in the health industry for over 15 years in health promotion and education, and starting a family, I decided to go back to study to help other's regain their lives after starting a family of their own.
